The last meaningful recordings I did were done alone in my bedroom around 2012. I released these under the artist name ‘The Snippets’.
I chose this name due to the verse-chorus-breakdown structure of the songs, and the fact that I aimed to make them all come in at under 90 seconds long, sort of like snippets of the regular songs I loved then and still love now.
The sound was mainly inspired by New Found Glory and their peers, and they possessed a brightness I’m still fond of.
I keep thinking that I might revive this project, but it would sound wildly different these days if I did.
